The Kingsford charcoal brand dates from the 1920's when a charcoal plant was set up in Iron Mountain, Michigan by
E.G. Kingsford, cousin of Henry Ford. Offcuts of wood from panels of the Model T Ford production line were manufactured into charcoal to sell alongside a basic Ford charcoal barbecue.

Kingsford Barbecues Ltd are proud to present charcoal barbecues bearing the Kingsford brand, a sign of quality, design and performance.

For the UK market we have supplemented the charcoal barbecue range with high quality gas powered barbecues, catering for beginners and connoisseurs alike.
